Delete your account
Deleting your account removes you and everything the app stored for you. It cannot be undone, and it is not needed just to stop using the app: you can sign out, or delete the app, and come back later to the same log.
How to ask
- Email support@loadsmith.app with the subject Delete my Loadsmith account.
- Send it from the email address you sign in with. That is how the request is verified. If you signed in with Apple and chose to hide your email, say so, and you will be asked to confirm from inside the app instead.
- You get a reply confirming the request, and a second one when it is done. Deletion is completed within 30 days of the first reply, usually much sooner.
During the test period this is a request by email. A Delete account button in Settings, which does the same thing immediately, is coming before launch.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in: email address, and the Apple or Google sign-in link if you used one.
- Everything about you: date of birth or age, sex, height, bodyweights, units and preferences.
- Your whole training log: programs, workouts, sets, notes, suggestions.
- Everything the program builder remembered about you.
- Your bug reports, including any screenshots, and the record of what you agreed to in the app.
- The record of your AI requests.
Everything above lives in one database and is deleted together. Crash reports, if you had them on, expire by themselves after 90 days and carry only an account id that no longer points to anyone. Anything the program builder sent to the AI provider expires after at most 30 days.
What is kept
- Your deletion request email, for up to 90 days, as the record that it was done. Then it goes too.
- A bug report you sent may still exist as an email in the developer's mailbox until that report is dealt with, and no longer than 12 months.
- Workouts and weights the app wrote to Apple Health or Health Connect stay there, because they are on your phone and in your health account, not ours. Delete them from that app if you want them gone.
- The copy of your log on your own phone. Deleting the app removes it.
Deleting less than everything
You do not have to delete the account to remove something. In the app you can delete any workout, set, note or bodyweight, and under Settings → What the coach remembers you can delete each fact the program builder kept. Turning off Send crash reports stops crash reports at once.
